Paris theme park
Planning a trip to France with the children but do not know where to go? You want to have fun theme park in Europe to compete with that of America? So why not visit Paris – not only is it one of the most beautiful cities in the world, but it also has two great theme parks nearby where the children will love. Enter the cartoon world of Gaul at Parc Asterix or mingle with Mickey, Minnie and company at Disneyland Paris.
Parc Asterix
Introduction
This typically French theme park brings to life France's most popular cartoons cartoon of all time – Asterix the Gaul, a warrior of life of small and odd in Armorica in 50 BC, the only part of Gaul not to be conquered by the Romans. The amusing stories in the foyer of the comic strip Asterix, his kind heart and a little rounder friend Obelix and the druid Panoramix local (in Panoramix French) who prepares potions for them.
Location
The Park is located about 30 kilometers (20 miles) north of Paris, north of the airport Charles de Gaulle on the A1 motorway to Lille Paris.
Attractions
Here are a few turns exhilarating and scary, all loosely based on classic themes – there's the Thunder of Zeus – the largest wooden roller coaster in Europe, the Roman galley swinging, horse Troy and the death defying Goudurix loop the loop-ride, and the flying chairs, slides and other tabloid favorite theme park.
Entertainment
There are still many events happening when you want a break from the rides. Meet your favorite characters during the parade of costumes – they are held several times a day, or go back in time to a Gaulish Village Festival, where there are many interesting and fun activities daily comings and goings. The dolphin and sea lion show is captivating, and Panoramix Magic Show will leave you spellbound. And it's not all – there are several different shows throughout the day, in which Asterix and his friends get involved in Great High Jinks and adventures.
Restaurants
Being a French theme park, food here of course is excellent and there are a wide variety of eateries to choose from, if you're looking for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a snack. There is a great pizzeria, a creperie and a bar tasty delicious burger to name a few. All theme restaurants are also – there is a medieval banquet hall, a buffet in a colorful circus tent tent, a Gaulish tavern and a Roman villa.
Shops
You can get Asterix souvenirs in all shapes and sizes, t-shirts and mugs with helmets and swords. There stalls and shops throughout the park, so you can get what you want, whenever you want. If you are looking for other gifts and souvenirs, there are wonderful shops selling Egyptian, Roman and Greek themed ornaments, handicrafts and clothing.
Accommodation
Hotel Three Owls, is the choice in the park itself, but it is a wondeful place to stay and offers great value for money. Facilities at this hotel three-star are excellent – there is a comfortable lounge with a fireplace, a playroom for children and a bar with a terrace. Near hotels include Novotel, Kyriad, Campanile and Mercury, so you'll never be stuck for somewhere to stay.
Disneyland Paris
Introduction
Disney's park single theme in Europe is very similar in style parks in America. The Magic Kingdom is composed of four different countries, all of which converge on Main Street USA – a early 20th century on the theme of the street with horses, trams and vintage cars. Fantasyland is a world of fairy tales and targets young children. He is sleeping Beauty Castle, the home of Snow White and Alice in Wonderland maze. Peter Pan, Pinocchio and Dumbo also make an appearance. Frontierland is a gold rush themed area with Pocahontas Indian Village, a shooting gallery, Big Thunder Mountain and Wild West legends all around. Adventureland takes you through the exotic lands of wonderful Enchanted Passages of Aladdin Pirates of the Caribbean lagoon. Discoveryland is a wonderful area of science and space.

All the most famous and popular American parks are recreated in Disneyland Paris. There is the terrible Space Mountain teacups at the Mad Hatters, "It's a Small World, Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
Entertainment
No trip to a Disney theme park would be complete without a parade where you can meet your favorite Disney characters. There parades in various parts of the park all day, you'll never miss. Some of these excellent performances show includes The Lion King, The Tarzan Encounter and Winnie the Pooh and his friends.
Restaurants
Each area has its own range of eateries to suit all tastes and appetites at any time of day. Some of the best are Victoria's Homestyle Restaurant on Main Street USA, which serves good, traditional American dishes like pate meat and chocolate cakes. Cowboy Barbecue in Frontierland is a barbecue restaurant with mouth-watering country music and dancing, while Buzz Lightyear's Planet Pizza serves pizza in a warm intergalactic.
Shops
You will easily find a souvenir of your favorite character Disney – there is a large selection of toys in many shops scattered throughout the park, old classics like Winnie the Pooh year space-age Buzz Light year. The shops in the visitor a few weird and wonderful scientific gadgets and widgets, while Adventureland has exotic gifts and souvenirs from distant lands. Budding cowboys can kit in the warehouse Bonanza Frontierland, a Stetson hat to boot spurs.
Accommodation
It is rather expensive to stay in the resort itself, but for a real treat, it is very fun. Disneyland Hotel on Main Street USA is the most expensive, while Davey Crockett Ranch is the cheapest option. The chalets are comfortable on a quarter of an hour's drive from the park. Other hotels outside the park include the Radisson SAS, Kyriad, Holiday Inn and Pierre et Vacances Hotel.
