vaccinating babies h1n1

I am pregnant. When I get the H1N1 vaccine, will my baby also be vaccinated? Regular flu vaccine?
If not, how soon can I have my baby vaccinated after she is born?
The vaccine works by making your body produce antibodies against the virus. After vaccination if you are exposed your body will produce lots of antibodies to prevent infection. Your baby won’t be able to do this for herself but she will be protected for a while because you share antibodies with her during pregnancy.
This is called passive immunity and it should last for about 2-3 months after birth. It is recommended that infants are vaccinated at 6 months because it takes time for their immune systems to develop before they can create the same protective response as you.
The key is to vaccinate children before they are likely to be exposed to other people who may have the disease, for example at school/day care, etc.
