gas medicine babies
My six week old may have acid reflux?
The doctor thinks that my baby is just suffering from gas…but the gas medicine is not working. (I’m giving her Maalox and Mylicon) Is it possible she has acid reflux instead? She eats for a few minutes (she’s breast fed) and then cries. I’ve tried giving her a bottle to and same thing. She acts like she wants more, but doesn’t want to suck. It takes a while to get her calmed down so you know she’s hurting. She’s not really spitting up much (maybe once or twice a day). What can I do? I’m going to recontact the doctor tomorrow. I’m just looking for some advice. Is it possible that formula would be better for her? Thanks.
Sounds like my friends baby he was doing the same..she brought him in to the doctors and they switched him to a special formula..she was breastfeeding him before..so maybe thats it..my 3rd baby had acid reflux they had her on Zantac..luckily she outgrew it..good luck to you
