newborn babies sleep patterns

newborn sleeping patterns?
my baby girl is 2 weeks old now, she sleeps almost a lot during the day. She either sleeps a full 3-4 hours before she wakes up or wakes up every hour and a half to 2 hours to breastfeed and sleep again. she only stays awake not more than 3-4 hours during day and come to the night she’s awake all night long crying.
I’m trying to make her sleep less during day time but can’t succeed. she keeps crying when she wakes up until i feed her and falls asleep directly. Tried also to give her formula milk at night as she tends to sleep longer when she drinks it but it doesn’t always work.
any suggestions on this?
When she wakes up at night keep the lights low and do not encourage her in any playful way. During the day make sure you take her outside in the sunlight, but be sure to keep her out of direct sun light. My son is a week old and when he wake up during the night I am sure to just give him food and I do not play. We have not been having any problems. When he wakes up during the day I am full of playtime.
