Can food colour baby’s food when breast feeding?
My little baby girl is almost three months and is being breast fed. Lately her stools have been green once a day (as opposed to yellow). Can the difference in color be caused by my wife eating lettuce?
Can anything that my wife eat color her stools?
My son is 7 weeks old and breastfed. I was noticing the same problem and wondering the same thing last week. From what I’ve read, too much foremilk is the most likely cause (especially if it is mucousy) and especially if she is gassier than normal. It would take a LOT of lettuce to cause this.
