Are my hamsters fighting?
I hear them speak or at least one did; quiet often. It sounds like those squeaky toys or squeaky shoes that babies wear. Is it some noise when they make when they are mating or something?
I went to pet shops and heard other hamsters squeaking in fear when ppl try to touch them and it sounds different. So are they fighting? Also, i see no injury.
*they are drawf hamsters and are only 1.5 months old
hamsters are very territorial and any pet shop owner should have told you not to put two or more in a cage together. Once they reach 6 months old they do fight and if they are a male and female, they may be mating, but they will likely kill any babies they have and eventually, one will kill the other. I have no idea how they ever lived in the wild without extincting themselves, but a cage is not a large enough space for two hamsters to share.
