milk babies age
at what age do our babies cosume the most milk breastmilk/formula?
just wanting to no at what age babies consume the most milk like 0-3 months 3-6months 6-9months ect i dont no as ive breastfed all my kids.
That’s a strange question and there are going to be broad answers. Every child is different and most answers are going to be by perspective/opinun (Ex:it felt like a million tons) since it’s not likely anyone kept a chart from the second a child was born and magically could determine how much was suckled from their body.
I would say/think it is at the points they first begin to switch over to solids,… for every child. Solids take up more space and longer to digest so that should reduce the milk they consume. So that is how you will have to guess.
As for studies I have noticed,… there are two things that suggest the 9-12 months range to me. 1. Infants supposedly need to grow the most and consume the most to make up for all that energy before they turn one years old. 2. At about one the appetite, taste buds, and diets of infants/toddlers suddenly change to being smaller and more restricted.
But like I said,.. it depends on the child (and alot on the parent). There are people on here that have said they basically start their toddlers on solids at two months and some are under the paranoia if they don’t their child will be morbidly obesse *rolls eyes*. So their children do not get as much milk (and their stmcks are expanded by things that absorb and carry nutriants out of their bodies instead of letting them get into their bones,.. so later when they have a bone shatter… it will be a great mystery why it was so brittle).
Now in the past and in other countries things are probably different. A child is supposed to be open to Breast Feeding until Five years old. The reason why is at about Five the chemicals start kicking in and being produced that will start adolesense. So in other countries they may not be so quick to switch to solids and notice a point where they consume the most milk when not being given solids… some time after the first year… maybe exactly when in the first year,.. who knows.
