Madela Breast Pump Tubing
Madela Breast Pump is foaming instead of pumping?
My madela breast pump is foaming when I pump. I get good suction, but when the milk falls into the compartment between the breast cup and the bottle, it appears to get ‘stuck’ there. Some milk drips through but eventually the milk starts to bubble and foam in that middle compartment. The milk works it’s way up until it gets to the tube entrance, and then the milk ends up heading down the tube and into the pump itself!
I’ve replace the little white tabs (little, thin pieces of plastic), and tried different tubes, all with no success. Suggestions?
This happened to me, but it never actually started to bubble, just got caught in that section like you described. Try breaking the suction every minute or so. That will make the milk that is trapped fall into the bottle.
