You just tell them the truth; A baby is made when sperm comes out of the penis, and flows up the vaginal canal, up into the utereus where it meets an egg. A fetus is formed, and for the next 9 months it will grow and develop, and then come out through the vaginal canal. There’s no need to sugar code it or lie about it, kids are a lot smarter then most people think, and if they feel like they aren’t getting the right answer, they have ways of getting the truth. Just tell them that, and they should be fine. At 4-6 years old, 99.999% of kids that age know what a penis is, they know what a vagina is, and if they’re old enough to ask a question, then their old enough to handle the correct answer.
