At what age can a baby have honey or nuts?
I know babies aren’t supposed to have honey or any nuts but at what ages can you start to introduce these foods? My daughter is 16 months, can she have peanut butter? And my son is having mini corn dogs at his birthday party but it says on the front of the box that the batter is made with honey, can she eat them?
yes it is perfectly fine now that she is over 12 months. the main reason for the honey one is that honey contains certain bacteria as it is a totally natural product made by an animal, mush the same rule as cows milk etc. at 16 moths shes fine to have them. nuts r for the obvious reason of possible allergies. shes fine to have them also just be aware of any symptoms of an allergic reaction. give her them and if she is allergic then at least u will know for future.
