Funny things happen when babies start solids ?
Did you notice life gets a lot more exciting once baby starts to eat solids and self-feed some ?
Earlier, when we just still starting foods for the first time, I forgot to tell my husband she had just had peas for the first time before going out. He sure panicked when she started spitting up bright green ! LOL poor hubby….
Then this week I stained her bum-crack orange… I hadn’t really noticed, but I ended giving her lots of orange foods (sweet potatoes, butternut squash, carrots, peaches). Sooooo, her bum, most intensely between her cheeks, is stained orange like kool-aid !!!!
Did something you never expected happen to you when baby started solids ???
I was shocked when I found whole pieces of carrots and whole peas in my daughter’s diaper when she was about 8 months old, until I learned that an immature digestive tract causes many things to come out looking very similar to how they went in. They were completely identifiable, I can assure you of that!
