can babies naturally swim

Am I going to get skin cancer?
I am naturally light-haired, light-skinned, and have greenish-blue eyes.
When I was young, I got some sunburns, but no extreme, blistering ones. I didn’t go out much in the sun as a teen and young adult; didn’t like it. Got most of my sun in the last 20 years.
Have been diagnosed, in the past, with squamous cell skin cancer, had a benign growth removed.
I just got extensively sunburned, after swimming for half an hour.
My problem is that I can’t wear any sunscreen–it all makes my eyes burn, even the stuff for babies.
Help?
I would definitely tell your doctor about this. Because of your light skin and frequent outdoor activities without using sunscreen, you are putting yourself at higher risk for skin cancer. Is it possible that you can put sunscreen on your legs and arms and not your face if it bothers your eyes? If not, ask your doctor if there are any special sunscreens you can use. Otherwise I would recommend going outside with a hat, sunglasses, and long-sleeved (but light) clothing, such as a sundress. Also, when you go swimming, try to wear a bathing suit that will cover most of your body or wear a wetsuit. That should help minimize your skin’s exposure to the Sun. Finally, it is important to not spend a lot of time in the Sun if you don’t wear sunscreen. Try to spend time indoors or in the shade during the summer.
