tanning tips. NO tanning beds. natural outdoor tanning. help?
well i live in sunny southern california and id like to be a bit tanner.
most of my friends are extremely tan, and being closer to their shade would be nice.
i dont want to end up looking like a burnt piece of toast.
so just outside tanning like laying in the sun.
im not using sunless tanners or anything like that.
so how long should i stay out there, what should i put on (sunscreen, baby lotion, or what?), and what should i do after to not peel.

lay in the sun, obviously do not put on sunscreen tho, or else you will not get tan. and how long you lay out depends on you. i can do about a half hour front and a half hour on the back and be fine, most people would burn though. lotion up after the sun though, something with aloe vera and you wont peel.
k well i work at a tanning parlor ladies below me, i do know what im talking about. if you put on sunscreen, the tan will take longer for you to get tan. if you lay out longer than an hour, OF COURSE use sun tan lotion. but if you lay out first without suntan lotion, the tan will show up faster, and that is what you asked, right? i put on baby oil when i lay out, then suntan lotion after the first hour.
