Can I bleach my hair while I am nursing?
Before I got pregnant I dyed my hair brown and hated it, but I had to deal with it for 9 months because I had heard it was dangerous to dye your hair while pregnant. My wait is finally over, I have given birth to a beautiful baby boy, and now I am breastfeeding. I desperately want to be back to my platinum blond self but am worried that it is too risky to do while breastfeeding. Should I or shouldn’t I???
it’s not putting it on your hair that’s the problem, it if it gets on your scalp, and also the fact that you’ll be breathing in all those horrible fumes. I had my hair highlighted for a wedding when I was about 4 months postpartum and nursing. I felt guilty the whole time…
you could do what I did after I had my first , just chop it all off?!
It’s tricky, you want to look good/feel good especially after just having a baby. You just have to weigh it up I guess. Regardless of whether you are nursing or not, all those toxic chemicals end up in YOUR body. After I got those highlights this summer, I decided that was it for me… just gonna live with my natural colour
