babies poems

is there any poems that are about giving their baby up for adoption?
i am seventeen years old and six months pregnant. i am giving my baby girl up for adoption and would love to read some poems about letting go.
ADOPTION OF MOTHERS & DAUGHTER
Not a day goes by that I don’t regret that day.
I knew it wasn’t right but what was i to say?
No thank you, not now, maybe another day?
It didn’t matter he’ll do it anyway.
My mom warned me about this,
but we weren’t gonna do it maybe just a kiss.
The night was over time to go home.
He didn’t even say good bye, I felt so alone.
My mom woke up and asked where I’ve been.
Oh just out with a friend I said with a grin.
A few months go by and my belly gets big.
No, I cant be pregnant I just eat like a pig.
I went to the store and got a test.
It didn’t feel right, but lets hope for the best.
10 minutes go by and it’s time to look.
This may be the hardest test I ever took.
I looked at the test and fell to the floor.
Next thing I heard was a knock at the door.
When I showed my mom she wasn’t very proud.
When I showed my dad he screamed so loud.
There’s nothing we can do the damage is done.
But there is options that won’t be so fun.
We went to the doctors, they said its a girl.
So, how am i gonna tell her father, I’ll have to give it a whirl
My mom told me we have to put her up for adoption.
My dad said This was my only option.
I chose a family who couldn’t have kids of their own.
The pick the perfect parents an called them on the phone.
The labor was hard and it hurt quite a lot.
But it all went away when I got the shot.
The doctor came in and said “The family is here”
Its been a long road but the end is near.
Her new family came in I didn’t know what to say.
They promised they would love her and lets all pray .
I wrote her a letter,
telling her this was for the better.
The new happy family left the room and I started to cry.
I was so sad I wanted to die.
I was only 17 and made a big mistake,
and it’s one I hope you never make
So with this all said, I pray you understand
That this was always in GODS plan
Once there were two women who never knew each other.
One you do not remember the other you call Mother.
Two different lives, shaped to make yours one.
One became your guiding star; the other became your sun.
One gave you a nationality; the other gave you a name.
One gave you the seed of talent; the other gave you an aim.
One gave you emotions; the other calmed your fears.
One saw your first sweet smile; the other dried your tears.
One gave you up, it was all that she could do.
The other prayed for a child and God led her straight to you.
And now you ask me through your tears.
The age-old questions through the years:
Heredity or environment, which are you a product of?
You’ll always have two Mothers with two different kinds of love
