babies bellies and beyond

Any suggestions for bonding activities to do while 4 months pregnant?
I’m currently 16w4d pregnant and having the worlds easiest pregnancy thus far, with the exception of a prior back injury already starting to effect my sciatic nerve. No morning sickness, no major mood swings, etc…
I feel like a bad mom even asking this, but I’m having a problem.
I’m very conscientious of the fact I am indeed pregnant, and the belly is finally beginning to show, but half the time I feel like I’m not pregnant.
It’s too early to feel the baby moving yet, it’s too soon to use this prenatal heartbeat detector my friend got me (they recommend to use it at the END of the 2nd trimester and beyond) and I still don’t know what I’m having so I can’t call it by it’s name yet.
What kinds of activities can I get involved in to feel more connected to my baby?
It is my first pregnancy, and I wrote it a letter once (I left the babies father when I was 3.5 months along) and basically apologized for all the stress and things were going to get better.
You might not be able to call the baby Jack or Jill but you can give it a cute nickname like jelly bean or peanut…something that reminds you of your baby somehow. Before we knew the sex we called our son Youme ( a piece of you and me) Maybe get a pregnancy journal to document everything I got one thats titled Waiting for Baby and its pretty nice. Its a nice way to document and also made me feel alot closer to the baby because I chose to word it like he would read it, and I plan on him reading it when he is older. Rub lotion on your tummy everyday, sing outloud more often. Start building a routine now that you can keep up through out your pregnancy. Eventually your baby will feel when you touch your tummy, hear when you sing a song so its never too soon for her/him to become familiar with it all. HTH!
