babies behind bars

We can’t choose whom we love????? WTF!!!!!?
I am an intelligent, beautiful BAP. I’m spoiled and was raised by my father to believe I could have anything I wanted and that nothing was impossible. He was the first man I loved and made me appreciate how special I was. Although humble and thankful, I am super confident and life is pretty easy for me. I met someone 2 years ago whose stolen my heart. I mean, I love him soo much, I gave him my virginity and want to make babies with him. He’s sexy…he’s beautiful…he’s a…murderer. He served a lot of time behind bars for this and I’m confused about my feelings. I mean, he’s done is time and everyone deserves forgiveness but this out the norm for me. The question is, am I being realistic in wanting a relationship with him? What are the ramifications of being locked up for so long and will that rear its ugly head? Can a good girl really tame a bad boy?? Am I a judgemental, snotty bitch for even thinking this could be a problem?? Help!!
First of all don’t try to change anybody cause the only person you can control is yourself, & as you see that is not always true either.
Secondly why did he commit murder, did he have a good reason or was it just a senseless act of violence?
Thirdly, being behind bars that long is bound to have some ramifications you know, not always bad ones though. It depends on the person.
Fourth you can not help who you love, as you well know by now.
How long has he been out of prison? If it’s only been a little while don’t move in with him or marry him right away. Give him sometime to see how he is going to do on the outside because if he isn’t going to be able to get along on the outside it will soon become evident. If however he has been out awhile, at least 6 months I think, I say you should be able to tell by now whether he is going to be able to make a go of it or not. Making a list of pro’s & cons might help, but right now I say take it really really slow, & get a transcript of his trial if possible or his records & find out the whole story not just the one he is telling you.Use your head & check out everything before you do anything you might regret. If it was his ex girl friend or wife or sexual partner of some sort that he killed you may want to forget him all together. Seriously.
Good Luck & I hope you can be happy either way.
