Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump Backpack
Who has used the Avent Isis Duo or Ameda Purely Yours breast pump?
I am caught between the Avent Isis Duo and the Ameda Purely Yours with backpack.
I decided against the Medela because it does not have a system that prevents milk backup into tubing and pump or a system to ensure milk purity both the Avent and Ameda do.
I have found a site that has both of these cheapest I have seen anywhere else www.healthchecksystems.com (in case you are wondering) and they are similar in price, $229.99-$239.99.
If you have had experience with either of these please let me know, I am not interested in the Medela in case you have one. Both the Avent and Ameda come with comfort massage breast sheilds and I really dig the comfort aspect, the Medela doesn’t.
Since they are over $200 bucks I want to make the best choice.
They both seem to be evenly matched but I can’t decide…
I have not used either personally, but hear at LLL meetings and another IBCLC led support group that the Ameda is the best. Medela is another favorite, but you’ve covered the drawbacks.
I never hear anyone talking about the Avent… they only say they like the bottles!
These women I hear talking pumps are all exclusively breastfeeding professionals… if I were to buy one, I’d get an Ameda Purely Yours.
