Taking down the stupid Pack N Play?
Okay, it’s not stupid at all, I’m just extremely frustrated and ready to pull my hair out. The Graco Pack N Play (with changing table and bassinet and mobile) was delivered to my house yesterday as a shower gift. I still have 12 weeks to go but wanted to set it up to see how sturdy it was and if I wanted to use it instead of a bassinet and I do.
Problem is, I’m now trying to take it apart and pack it all into the stupid little bag they give you, which is the equivalent of trying to pack a tent back into it’s bag. My question is, is EVERYTHING supposed to fit back into the bag?? I cannot get the mobile apart to save my life. I can’t get it all to fit inside of the mattress pad that wraps around it all. I got it in minus the entire changing table and mobile, but what’s the point? I need help! Any tips or pointers or suggestions would be greatly appreciated because I’m ready to throw it into the pool!
It does all fit 
I have one from 2006, with the bassinet, changing table, and mobile. It’s kinda lumpy when it’s all in there, but it works. I tuck the netting from the bassinet into the playpen, on the sides once the bottom is pulled up. The bars go inside the mattress pad, which straps tightly around it. I put the bottom of it in the bag, fold up the changing table, and slide that around the bottom. Making sure the handle is in the right spot and unobstructed is important too, but we put the curve of the mobile around the top, with the long side running down the side. Once she outgrew the accessories, we just left the bag at home w/ the accessories in it and carried the playpen and pad by the handle.
